Founded in 2025, the Metaline Falls Community Garden is located in Metaline Falls in the northeastern corner of Washington State.

Recently featured in the Oscar-nominated film Train Dreams, Metaline Falls is beautiful and historic town with strong ties to the logging and mining industries.

As a rural community, Metaline Falls has been underserved. The garden provides garden beds for members to grow their own produce. We also tend community beds, which are harvested and donated to local residents free of charge. The garden also aims to strengthen the community through events and partnerships with other organizations, like the Pend Oreille Conservation District.
